I would love to fix it but I am growing weary trying to fix the thing. It is physically like new so it seems a waste to throw it out when my nephew can still use it. I eventually want a new Kindle but if I can fix this one I will use it for a bit longer and I can give it to my nephew when I am done. Also my Kindle I assume is 6.3.1 (It has been a while since I check that so I am assuming). Rekindle and SoupKit both say "file does not exist" and report my kindle as "Offline"

Ubuntu detects the Kindle and the serial number but says "no media" under drive description /rebates/&.com252fe-readers252fanw7q-battery-replacement-use-kindle-serial. I could have done it wrong though so maybe I will try again. I pried my Kindle apart easily and tried to use a paperclip to short the USB and force it to boot through USB but I failed at that too. There is no way to connect a standard Kindle Fire to a TV.

I have rooted it before and have had IceCream Sandwich off and on it quite a few times and always gone back to the Stock ROM because it just seemed to run better. If this is in the wrong section on the forums I will remove it but it seemed right to me. Ok first off I am sorry if this seems like a useless repost but I have searched forums and can't find a fix for my problem so I am making a new thread.
